TotalEnergies Targets N192bn Revenue in Q2 2025 Despite Rising Costs
TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc has set its revenue target at N191.61 billion for the second quarter of 2025, despite facing increasing operational costs. This projection was disclosed in the company’s recently filed profit and loss forecast with the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
According to the financial outlook, the company expects a gross profit of N25.7 billion between April and June 2025, following a cost of sales of N165.9 billion. Operating profit is projected to reach N7.8 billion, considering selling and distribution expenses of N4.4 billion and administrative costs of N15.6 billion.
TotalEnergies anticipates a net finance cost of N5.6 billion, comprising finance income of N854.4 million and finance costs of N6.5 billion. Consequently, its estimated profit before tax stands at N2.1 billion, with an expected net profit of N1.4 billion after an income tax expense of N725.5 million.
The company’s cash flow forecast suggests a net cash inflow of N18.3 billion from operations, following N172.4 billion in cash receipts from customers and N149.3 billion in payments to suppliers and employees. However, after settling tax obligations of N4.8 billion, the final net cash from operations will be N18.3 billion.
Additionally, N2.1 billion is earmarked for fixed asset investments during the quarter. Meanwhile, the company expects a cash outflow of N27.3 billion from financing activities, primarily due to loan repayments (N17.6 billion), interest payments (N6.5 billion), and dividend payments (N3.2 billion).
