TCN Acting MD, others receive letters of appointment

The Acting General Manager of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) Engr. Sule A. Abdulaziz and four Executive Directors of the company, have received their letters of appointment from the Federal Government.
In a statement by the General Manager (Public Affairs),TCN, Ndidi Mbah, the  letters which were signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, noted that the appointment of the Acting MD is with effect from 19th May, 2020 while that of the four Executive Directors took effect from 27th December, 2019.
“The new Management Team which include Engr. Sule A. Abdulaziz as the Acting Managing Director, Engr. Victor Adewumi – Executive Director (Transmission Service Provider), Engr. Maman J. Lawal – Executive Director (Independent System Operator), Mr. Ahmad Dutse – Executive Director (Finance and Accounts) and Barr Justin Dodo – Executive Director (Human Resources and Corporate Services), have all been appointed for an initial term of four years.
“The letters which were signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, noted that the appointment of the Acting MD is with effect from 19th May, 2020 while that of the four Executive Directors took effect from 27th December, 2019,” the release read in part”. Mbah said.
On the 19th of May, 2020, the Federal Government had announced the appointment of a new Acting Managing Director for TCN, following the sack of the former Md, Usman Gur Mohammed, as well as the confirmation of the Executive Directors, who had been on acting capacity.
