SON to strengthen relationship with steel industry
The Director-General (D-G) of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Dr. Ifeanyi Okeke, in a courtesy visit to KAM Holdings, one of the foremost steel manufacturing companies in Lagos assured of a more robust relationship with the steel industry.
The DG who engaged Dr. Kamoru Yusuf, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive, KAM Holdings in discussions about the role of regulatory bodies like SON, noted that the Agency ensures the highest standards of quality and safety for steel manufacturing in Nigeria.
Dr. Okeke reiterated the vital importance of collaboration between regulatory authorities and industry players like KAM Holdings to maintain and enhance product standards.
On his part, Dr. Yusuf emphasized the commitment of KAM Holdings to producing top-tier steel products that meets the rigorous standards set by SON.
He stressed the company’s dedication to quality, innovation, and safety in its manufacturing processes.
