Shettima, Sanwo-Olu to Headline Zenith Bank’s Tech Fair, Future Forward 4.0
Vice President of Nigeria, Sen. Kashim Shettima, and Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will deliver goodwill messages at the fourth edition of Zenith Bank’s Tech Fair, themed “Future Forward 4.0: Embedded Finance, Cybersecurity & Growth Imperatives – The Impact of AI.” The event is set to take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, and will run from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Tech Fair promises to highlight groundbreaking advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, financial intelligence, cloud computing, and communication technologies. Attendees can look forward to a robust program that includes exhibitions, panel discussions, masterclasses, and the Zecathon start-up pitch competition, designed to discover and support innovative startups.
Jim Ovia, CFR, the Founder and Chairman of Zenith Bank, will deliver the opening remarks, followed by a welcome address by Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON, the Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc. Robin Speculand, an internationally recognized Strategy and Digital Implementation Specialist, will give the keynote address titled “Banking Transformation in a Digital World.”
The event will feature presentations by industry leaders such as Danillo McGarry, a global expert in digital transformation and AI; Jania Okwechime, Partner for AI and Data at Deloitte Africa; and Rupert Nicolay, Director of Microsoft Worldwide Financial Services. These discussions will focus on the evolving intersection of finance and technology.
A panel discussion moderated by Wole Odeyele, Client Technology Lead for Microsoft Inc., will include notable figures such as Ada Jabaru, Founder and Director of Nistad Limited; Funke Opeke, CEO of MainOne; Guy Futi, CEO of Orda; Dr. Auwal Adam Sa’ad, Founder of ZamzamPay; Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA); and Engr. Bisoye Coker-Odusote, Director General and CEO of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
