OTL Africa Appoints Joyce Akabogu as New CEO
OTL Africa Downstream Development in Africa Ltd./Gte, a leading international energy NGO, has announced the appointment of Joyce Akabogu as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. This appointment comes as the organization expands its advocacy and operations across the African energy sector.
Akabogu, a founding director of OTL Africa, brings over two decades of experience in law, project management, and international development. With a Master’s degree from the Institute of Development Studies and experience at organizations like the Commonwealth Education Fund and ActionAid International, Akabogu is well-equipped to lead OTL Africa’s growth.
As CEO, Akabogu will be responsible for consolidating OTL Africa’s impact in West Africa and expanding its operations across the continent. She expressed her enthusiasm for the role, stating, “I look forward to working with our diverse network of stakeholders and driving the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the African energy value chain.”
