Optima Energy Joins Dangote Refinery’s Fuel Distribution Network

Nigeria’s energy landscape is shifting as Optima Energy becomes the latest company to partner with Dangote Refinery for fuel distribution. The company joins MRS, Heyden, and Ardova Plc, strengthening Dangote’s retail network across the country.

As part of this partnership, petrol prices have been reduced to N825 per liter at the gantry, with retail prices varying based on location. Consumers can expect to pay:

• N860 per liter in Lagos
• N870 in the South-West
• N880 in the North
• N890 in the South-South and South-East

Nigerians have called on Dangote Refinery to bring in more partners to improve fuel distribution nationwide. The expansion is expected to increase supply stability and reduce price volatility across different regions.

This development marks another step toward Dangote’s growing dominance in Nigeria’s energy sector.
