NUPRC’s Komolafe Clinches Champion Newspapers’ Most Outstanding Regulator Award
Engr. Gbenga Komolafe, the Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), has been honored with the prestigious Most Outstanding Regulator of the Year Award by Champion Newspapers. The ceremony took place at the renowned Eko Hotels & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Presenting the award to Komolafe, Lady Ada Chukwudozie, Chairman of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) South East Zone, commended his exceptional contributions to Nigeria’s economic advancement, particularly within the oil and gas sector. She emphasized Komolafe’s dedication to fostering a conducive environment for responsible exploration and production activities, highlighting NUPRC’s role as a model regulator not only in Nigeria but across Africa.
In his acceptance speech, Komolafe, represented by Dr. Paul Osu, the Regional Director Lagos of NUPRC, expressed gratitude for the recognition and pledged to continue his efforts towards enhancing the nation’s oil and gas industry.
