NUPRC Launches Service Charter in Collaboration with SERVICOM
The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, NUPRC, has launched its service charter in collaboration with Service Compact, SERVICOM, at the Commission’s headquarters in Jabi, Abuja.
The charter outlines guidelines for operators in the upstream petroleum industry and emphasises the obligations of NUPRC as a regulator as well as that of key players in the upstream petroleum sector.
The charter indicates commitments at the highest level and promotes fair treatment and dignified services in all aspects of the commission’s function, NUPRC said.
During the charter launch, the Commission’s Chief Executive Officer, Engr Gbenga Komolafe, said the document will serve as an additional operational tool to guide both staff of the Commission and operators in the sector to improve service delivery.
According to Komolafe, he will ensure that the staff of the commission works, meet, and exceed the standards set by the charter.
SERVICOM’s National Coordinator, Nnenna Akajemeli, said the staff of NUPRC must strive to accept their individual and team responsibilities towards improving service delivery for impact on the generality of the nation.
