Northern Angola Electrification Project Nears Completion
The demining works for an electrification project in Angola’s northern Bengo province, covering the Triangle of Dembos and Nambuangongo, have reached their final stage, according to the local governor, Maria Antónia Nelumba.
The project involves demining 252 kilometers of the route where energy transmission towers will be installed, providing electricity to the municipalities of Bula Atumba, Dembos, Pango Aluquém, and Nambuangongo.

The electrification project, funded by Spain and budgeted at AKz 63 billion kwanzas, includes 170 kilometers of 60 and 30 kilovolt lines supplied by the Mabubas dam. It aims to promote progress and development in the covered municipalities.
