Noble drillship secures extension, new contract

LONDON – Noble Corp. plc has issued an update on its offshore drilling rig fleet.

Offshore Myanmar, PTTEP has awarded the semisubmersible Noble Clyde Boudreaux a one-year contract extension. The extension is from mid-March 2019 to mid-March 2020.

In the US Gulf of MexicoTalos Energy Inc. has extended the contract for the drillship Noble Don Taylor. The contract runs from mid-April to early June 2019.

Offshore Guyana, Esso has awarded the Noble Don Taylor a one-year contract. The estimated contract duration is October 2019 to October 2020.

Offshore Saudi Arabia, Noble said it is discussing with Saudi Aramco a contract extension to the end of 2019 for the jackup Noble Joe Beall. Its current contract is expected to expire at the end of the month.
