NiMet Predicts Three Days of Sunshine and Thunderstorms Starting Monday.
For Monday, NiMet predicts sunny skies with patches of clouds over the northern region and isolated thunderstorms in parts of Taraba State later in the day. The North Central region will have sunny skies with cloud patches and potential thunderstorms in parts of Benue State during the afternoon and evening.
The southern states are expected to have cloudy skies with morning thunderstorms in parts of Cross River and Akwa Ibom states, and isolated thunderstorms in parts of Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Imo, Abia, Edo, Ebonyi, Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Bayelsa states in the afternoon and evening.
On Tuesday, sunny skies with patches of clouds are anticipated over the northern region, with isolated thunderstorms in parts of Adamawa, Kaduna, and Taraba states later in the day.
The North Central region will mostly experience cloudy weather with isolated thunderstorms in parts of Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Plateau, and Nasarawa states during the afternoon and evening. The southern states will see a cloudy atmosphere in the morning, with isolated thunderstorms expected later in the day over parts of Ondo, Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Imo, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Cross River, Bayelsa, Delta, and Lagos states.
