NIMC Partners with RH-NHGSF to Enhance School Feeding Program with Digital Integration
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Renewed Hope National Home Grown School Feeding (RH-NHGSF) Programme to support the Federal Government of Nigeria’s efforts to provide effective school feeding. This collaboration aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Mandate and emphasizes transparency, accountability, and inclusive access to the feeding initiative.
This partnership, spearheaded by NIMC’s Director-General/CEO, Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, and the RH-NHGSF National Programme Manager, Princess Aderemi Adebowale, aims to enroll every school child in the program with a National Identification Number (NIN). The integration of NIN registration into the school feeding initiative represents a significant step toward advancing Nigeria’s Digital Public Infrastructure while improving educational and nutritional outcomes for children.
Through this initiative, NIMC leverages its expertise in identity management to ensure equitable access to essential services. By fostering collaboration with RH-NHGSF, the Federal Government seeks to enhance transparency and accountability in delivering the school feeding program, contributing to sustainable development across Nigeria.
This partnership underscores the government’s commitment to using innovative solutions to support education and welfare programs, laying a foundation for a more inclusive future.
