NIMASA Honored with SERVICOM Award for Outstanding Service Delivery.
The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has been recognized with the prestigious SERVICOM Award for its exemplary service delivery, underscoring the agency’s dedication to enhancing standards, transparency, and efficiency in its operations.
The SERVICOM Award is presented to government agencies that excel in public service, and NIMASA’s recognition highlights its significant contributions to the maritime industry. These include ensuring maritime safety, regulating the sector, and promoting Nigeria’s maritime interests.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, Director General of NIMASA, represented by the Head of the SERVICOM Unit, Hajia Rakiya Lamai, expressed gratitude to the Presidency through the SERVICOM Office for acknowledging the agency’s efforts. He emphasized NIMASA’s determination to build on this achievement.
“We are spurred by this award, and we will continue to embrace best practices in the delivery of our services. I would also like to commend our dedicated staff for their commitment to the core values of the agency and their alignment with its vision and mission. Together, we will sustain this momentum,” Mobereola said.
The National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer of SERVICOM, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli, praised NIMASA in a letter for its unwavering commitment to improving service delivery.
“We are encouraged by your efforts to ensure Nigerians receive quality and timely services from the Nigerian State. Your inspiring work aligns with the essence of governance, and we look forward to your continued support as a key stakeholder in providing satisfactory services to citizens,” Akajemeli noted.
The award was presented during the annual end-of-year awards and meeting of the National Council of Nodal Officers with the SERVICOM Office in Abuja.
