NDPHC Honored with Power Infrastructure Development Agency of the Year Award
This acknowledgment underscores NDPHC‘s pivotal role in transforming the nation’s electricity sector. Originating from the Federal Government’s Electricity Power Supply Sector Reform in 2005, NDPHC emerged to enhance generation and distribution schemes, leading to the establishment of the Nigeria Integrated Power Project (NIPP).
Under NDPHC’s leadership, NIPP significantly augmented Nigeria’s power infrastructure by injecting 4,000 megawatts (MW) into the national grid. This substantial contribution earned NDPHC recognition as a key industry player, earning it the designation “big 10” for its significant impact.
In alignment with its dedication to innovation and sustainability, NDPHC has embarked on ambitious renewable energy ventures. By establishing a specialized department for renewable energy projects, NDPHC is spearheading the rollout of 100,000 solar energy systems to communities nationwide without access to the national grid.
