NCDMB’s Ogbe Inducted into Fellowship of Nigerian Society of Engineers
Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has received a prestigious honor. He was recently inducted into the Fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) at a ceremony in Abuja.
NSE President Recognizes Achievements:
The President of the NSE, Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, FNSE, personally bestowed the fellowship upon Engr. Ogbe. In her remarks, she congratulated all 63 inductees and emphasized the importance of upholding the high standards of the engineering profession. She specifically commended Engr. Ogbe for his leadership in driving local content development within the oil and gas industry, highlighting his strategic contributions through the NCDMB. The strong partnership between the NSE, NCDMB, and other industry stakeholders was also acknowledged.

The Chairman of the NSE Fellowship Board, Engr. Kamila Maliki, FNSE, extended his congratulations to the new fellows. He emphasized the rigorous selection process and commended the inductees for their dedication and achievements in the field of engineering.
Unveiling the NSE Quarterly Magazine:
Following the induction ceremony, Engr. Ogbe joined Engr. Ziad Mouannes, Managing Director of Setraco Nigeria Limited, and Senator Patrick Ndubueze to unveil the first edition of the 2024 NSE Quarterly Magazine.
A Distinguished Engineering Career:
Engr. Ogbe boasts nearly 30 years of experience in the engineering sector. Prior to his appointment as NCDMB Executive Secretary, he enjoyed a successful career with Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), culminating in his retirement to pursue private ventures. At CNL, Engr. Ogbe held various leadership positions, including Construction Services Group Superintendent, Offshore Projects Manager, and Construction Manager.
This well-deserved recognition by the NSE is a testament to Engr. Ogbe’s exceptional contributions to the engineering field and his leadership in promoting local content development within Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
