NCDMB and Seplat Partner with Delta State University to Establish Center of Excellence in Gas Development.
In a strategic move to enhance gas development and local capacity building, the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and Seplat Petroleum Development Company visited Delta State University (DELSU) in Abraka, Delta State.
The visit was part of the Board’s compliance monitoring efforts and aimed at presenting the implementation framework for establishing a center of excellence in gas development.
Seplat has committed to supporting the development of this center, which will integrate its operations within the host community, build capacity, and enhance technological advancements. This collaboration underscores Seplat’s dedication to contributing positively to the community and the broader gas industry.
The delegation from NCDMB was led by Alhaji Abdulmalik Halilu, Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, along with Tassallah Tersugh, General Manager of Midstream Monitoring, and other NCDMB staff members. Delegates from Seplat also joined the visit.
