The Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) is to hold another online Seminar titled ” The New Normal Post Covid-19 for the Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria.”
The Webinar comes up this week, Wednesday, May 27, 2020. The Seminar will take a look at what the future holds for the oil and gas sector amidst shrinking global markets occassioned by low demand coupled with volatile oil prices.
The guest Speaker at the talk show is Dr. Austin Avuru FNAPE, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Seplat Petroleum. He is expected to examine the ubiquitous impact of Corona virus pandemic which had been so staggering in the oil and gas sector. He will among other things profer solutions on what the future holds for the industry.
This Webinar is the second in NAPE’s series of online Seminar since the breakout of the pandemic and the lockdown. Last month the seminar was titled “Impact of COVID-19 on the Nigerian Oil & Gas sector – challenges and opportunities”
The guest Speaker at the talk show was Dr. Layi Fatona, FNAPE. He examined the importance of ensuring that oil workers remain healthy and safe during the pandemic. Also, the Seminar had highlighted the Impact of covid-19 on job security.
