Mainland Oil Strengthens Commitment to Lubricant Production and CNG Utilization Across Africa

At the OTL Africa Downstream Energy Week, Dr. Chris Igwe, Managing Director of Mainland Oil, highlighted the company’s dedication to advancing energy security and sustainability through high-quality lubricant production and the utilization of compressed natural gas (CNG) in Nigeria and Africa. With filling stations equipped with enhanced facilities across Nigeria, Mainland Oil has positioned itself as a significant player in both lubricant production and CNG distribution.

Dr. Igwe emphasized Mainland Oil’s mission to produce top-grade lubricants tailored to the market’s diverse needs. “Our retail outlets across all political zones in Nigeria ensure that our products are not only of the highest quality but also accessible and affordable,” Igwe stated. This commitment, he added, cements Mainland Oil’s reputation as a trusted name in the lubricant industry, contributing to optimized performance across various sectors.

Beyond lubricants, Mainland Oil’s CNG initiatives are central to its sustainability mission. Utilizing CNG as a cost-effective and cleaner alternative to traditional fuels, Mainland Oil is expanding its CNG distribution network, making this energy source available to industries and residential estates. “By promoting CNG usage, we support governmental initiatives aimed at achieving energy security while reducing emissions,” said Igwe.
