Continuing his restructuring efforts within Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of the government (MDAs), President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved a comprehensive reshuffling of Permanent Secretaries in various government ministries.
As a result of this restructuring, the influential Permanent Secretary of Marine and Blue Economy, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, has been relocated to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration.
Dr. Ajani, who assumed her duties in the Transportation Ministry in 2020, will be succeeded by Mr. Oloruntola Olufemi, who transitions from the Service Policies and Strategies Office (SPSO) OHCSF.
This extensive realignment involves a total of 24 Permanent Secretaries either being redeployed or appointed anew to lead various Federal Ministries, including recently established ones.
Notable changes also include the reassignment of Dr. (Mrs.) Evelyn Nkadi, the spouse of former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Chris Ngige, from the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment to the Federal Ministry of Arts & Culture and Creative Economy, as well as the Federal Ministry of Tourism.
