Jamoh Steps down as DG of NIMASA, hands over to Chudi Offodile
At the handover ceremony held at NIMASA Towers in Victoria Island, the former NIMASA Director General officially passed on the responsibilities of office to the agency’s Executive Director of Finance and Administration, Chudi Offodile.
Expressing appreciation to the Federal Government for the opportunity to serve as Director General, Jamoh urged the incoming leadership of the agency to build upon the achievements of the past four years.
“I am grateful to Almighty Allah and the Federal Government for entrusting me with the responsibility to serve Nigeria in this capacity. It has been a privilege to contribute to the Nigerian maritime sector during my tenure as Director General,” Jamoh remarked.

He reassured the agency’s staff that despite stepping down, he remains committed to being a part of the NIMASA family, where he has dedicated 30 years of his career. Jamoh also commended the staff for their cooperation and professionalism throughout his tenure.
In response, the acting NIMASA Director-General, Chudi Offodile, expressed gratitude to Jamoh for his guidance during Offodile’s tenure as the Executive Director of Finance & Administration over the past four years. Offodile acknowledged Jamoh’s expertise and indicated that the industry would continue to seek his counsel.
