Ikeja Electric Celebrates May Day with Awards for Excellence and Infrastructure Investments
Ikeja Electric Plc (IE), Nigeria’s leading electricity distribution company, reaffirmed its dedication to enhancing network infrastructure to ensure efficient service delivery, as it celebrated International Workers Day. She announced a recent investment of over Five Hundred Million Naira (N500m) in upgrading Adekunle Fajuyi and PTC Injection Sub-stations, benefiting areas such as Ikeja GRA, Opebi, and Maryland.
Addressing the issue of vandalism, Mrs. Soetan emphasized the need for collaboration among stakeholders and thanked community leaders for their support in apprehending vandals. She urged customers to report energy theft and refrain from activities near power lines.
Furthermore, Ikeja Electric showcased its commitment to corporate social responsibility by raising awareness about malaria prevention in Zone F, Durbar Road Amuwo, under its Oshodi Business Unit.
