Heirs Energies Celebrates Three Years of Success
Africa’s Foremost Indigenous-Owned Integrated Energy Company, established in January 2021 by Chairman Tony O. Elumelu, Heirs Energies, marked its three-year anniversary with a celebration of its notable achievements and unwavering commitment to shaping Nigeria’s sustainable energy future.
Within a short span, the company has emerged as Africa’s largest indigenous-owned integrated energy company, making significant strides in the oil and gas sector.
One of Heirs Energies’ remarkable achievements has been the substantial increase in Nigeria’s oil production, elevating the daily output from 27,000 to 40,000 barrels. This surge is particularly significant in the context of the country’s efforts to optimize production and address security concerns related to pipeline theft, resulting in a substantial reduction in losses.
Moreover, Heirs Energies has swiftly become a key player in Nigeria’s domestic gas supply, directing 100% of its gas production to meet local demand. This initiative not only provides energy to numerous households but also supports power plants and gas-dependent industries in the region.
Safety is a top priority for Heirs Energies, evident in its three incident-free years and the maintenance of zero Loss Time Injury (LTI) operations in OML 17, encompassing 1.5 million man-hours.
The company’s community-centric approach involves actively engaging with and empowering local talent through skill acquisition programs. Over 300 young individuals have benefited from these initiatives, contributing to the overall socio-economic development of local communities. Additionally, electrical infrastructure upgrades have positively impacted the lives of over 270,000 people.
Heirs Energies takes pride in its fully Nigerian team, emphasizing its commitment to showcasing and utilizing local talent for innovation and technical solutions. The success achieved in just three years serves as a testament to the company’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and community development.
