GE Vernova Launches AI-Powered Carbon Emissions Management Software at Azito Power Plant in Cote D’Ivoire.

GE Vernova, a leading technology company in the energy sector, has introduced its state-of-the-art carbon emissions management software, CERius™, at Azito Energie S.A. (“Azito”), the largest gas power plant in Cote D’Ivoire. This implementation marks a significant advancement in enhancing emissions reporting accuracy and supporting energy companies in their pursuit of net-zero goals.

CERius™ utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to facilitate precise data collection, abatement planning capabilities, and actionable insights crucial for effectively reducing carbon emissions. With tightening global regulations on emissions reporting, including recent mandates from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the demand for advanced software solutions like CERius™ has grown significantly.

Linda Rae, General Manager of Power Generation & Oil and Gas at Electrification Software, GE Vernova, underscored the importance of digital transformation in driving emissions reduction within the energy sector.
