On Monday, Kibo Energy head announced to stakeholders that efforts on fast-tracking the remaining technical work to complete an integrated bankable feasibility study for Botswana’s Mabesekwa Coal Independent Power Project is a top priority for this year.

Additionally, a feasibility study is underway for the Benga 150-300MW coal-fired power station in Mozambique.

This project is being developed with joint venture partner, Termoelectrica de Mozambique de Benga S.A. Discussions regarding a Power Purchase Agreement with prospective off-takers continue to advance.
