Agip, STAC Marine Celebrate Partnership Milestone, Sign New Safety Agreement
Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited (NAE), a subsidiary of Eni, and STAC Marine have celebrated the first anniversary of their collaboration in operating and maintaining the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facilities in the ABO offshore deepwater field.
In a statement issued in Lagos, NAE highlighted that STAC Marine assumed responsibility for the FPSO operations in November 2023, taking over from an international contractor. Over the past year, STAC has successfully ensured safe, efficient, and smooth operations at the facility.
Marking the occasion, NAE and STAC have also signed a “Pact for Safety and Environment,” a significant commitment aimed at strengthening their shared dedication to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). The agreement, developed by Eni’s Safety Competency Centre, underscores the importance of the human factor in maintaining a safe and reliable workplace.
