23 ships carrying petrol, other products expected at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 23 ships containing petroleum products, food and other goods will berth at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports between June 20 and July 17.

The NPA made this known in its daily ‘Shipping Position’ publication.

It said that one of the ships contains petrol, while the other 22 ships would bring in bulk salt, buckwheat, steel products, bulk sugar, frozen fish, bulk fertiliser, container, and general cargo.

NPA stated that 12 ships had earlier arrived the ports, waiting to berth with base oil, container and petrol.

It stated that a total of 19 ships are presently discharging bulk salt, butane gas, diesel, empty container, steel products, frozen fish, base oil, buckwheat and different containers.
